Our First Spring Hike for 2016

This past weekend it was so beautiful and our first truly WARM day...the snow is melting, we are hearing birds and it's just so very exciting. I thought I would share some of our photos from our afternoon hike.

 

It's kind of crazy to imagine, but here is a shot of the ice melting on the lake and just yards prior to this scene there were ice fisherman out on the lake fishing!

We thought this might be a fairy pool...

At the end of our hike this was our gift as the sun went down...

There isn't a day that goes by that I am not thankful that we get to call this beautiful place home.
