Some Yard Work and Fairy House Building Fun...

Our spring break days of fun are now over, for me at least! I head back to work today and tomorrow so yesterday Z and I spent the afternoon picking up twigs and fallen branches in the yard. It felt so good to be outside and working!

After our work was done we used some small branches that we had found and created a little fairy house of sorts.

So nice to be outside not having to wear all of our snow gear! Finally!

I've enjoyed getting to be home with Z so very much these past few days with her home from school. We sure did take advantage of every moment. So very thankful!

UW Madison - Geology Museum

Another stop during spring break for us was a visit to the UW Madison Geology Museum, this was a free museum and one that we weren't aware of until doing a bit of searching online. I'm so glad that we discovered it! Zoey didn't want to leave!! She LOVES anything and everything "science" related and was totally in her element while here.

Since this was on the UW campus we walked Zoey around the campus so she could see more of the buildings and get a view of the capitol building as well. We did walk down and did a bit of shopping on State Street as well which was a fun way to end our day of learning.
